Adamas forms the port of Milos bay and is the main tourist destination of Milos island in Greece. The town was founded by the Cretans. Some of their icons can still be seen in the Agia Triada church. Pollonia is located in the north of Milos island in Greece. The little fishing village offers luxurious villas and little taverns. There are daily trips from Pollonia to the Impious island.
Plaka is the capital of Milos island in Greece. The town is believed to have been built upon the Acropolis of Milos. All of the houses are whitewashed and there are narrow cobblestone streets with flowers hanging from the apartment balconies. The city houses the Folk and Archaeological museum.
The excellent road network makes it possible to stay in one of the villas in any of the villages and still reach the rest of Milos island in Greece. Apollonia offers diving, while Adamas is rich in nightlife. There are numerous other villages to visit including Zefyria and Klima.
